About me
My background is in commercial cleaning, industrial production, and international logistics. I organize people and processes: understand how the work runs, clarify responsibilities, and make sure the next step is understood. At NF ELIT, my roles are Head of AI & Automation and Head of Logistics.
I came to AI through practical work. Before automating anything, I need to understand what people do, what information they need, and who is responsible for the result. That experience helps me judge where a tool is useful and where the process itself needs attention.
I study at the University of the People, volunteer with UN Volunteers, and work in English and Portuguese. I also write for HowUSA, a public information project with materials in Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian.

How I work with people
I prefer a calm, direct conversation. If something is unclear, I ask, listen, and work through it with the people involved. I want us to leave with an agreement we can act on: who will do what, what needs checking, and when we come back to it.
Books and open projects
I’ve published two books. The Word Machine explains language models and the systems built around them. Your App Has to Work follows the work from a prototype to an application people can use. Alongside them are courses, learning apps, and tools I’ve made available on GitHub.
